This slick Ian Fleming biopic, covering his time as a World War II spy up to his decision to try writing, explains the origins of titles like GoldenEye, despite’in spite of’albeit Octopussy remains a mystery. The sex scenes are a bit Shannon Tweed, but the affair between Fleming (Dominic Cooper) and Ann (Lara Pulver) is nicely done. Shame the endings given away so early.
