Back in 2001, The Fast And The Furious wasn’t with regards to’concerning’with respect to sending cars into space. Well, of a kind anyway.###“There are many ways of doing quarter-mile races,” director Louis Leterrier tells Empire. “We’re doing a vertical quarter-mile race, which is intensely’extremely’extraordinarily’enormously’awfully interesting…” Did he just say a ‘vertical quarter-mile race’? Vertical, as in, up a establish ing? Or a cliff? Just when you claim’insist’maintain’hold’argue’consider’contemplate’speculate they’ve done e grossly thing, there’s always more new roads left to explore. But in/with regard to’concerning’regarding the most part, expect mildly’faintly more grounded stunts in Fast X compared to the rocket-car-in-space insanity of F9. “We’ve landed back on Earth,” laughs Leterrier. “What we did was go back to the original tone.
